Meet Dogs 4 Life Founder and Trainer, Jake King

After spending 10 years as a Clearance Diver in the Royal Australian Navy, a posting home to WA presented an opportunity to volunteer at a local dog rescue.

Jake eventually took on the role as President and during this time had an up close and personal view of the many and varied issues facing the community. Jake is now dedicated to helping keep dogs in the homes of those who love them. No family should have to be faced with surrendering their beloved pets due to preventable behaviour.

There is no quick fix and every dog and situation is different. Jake understands that addressing unwanted behaviour takes time and is committed to empowering pet owners through education and training. By working closely together with families and their pets, Jake believes we can achieve a happy home for both pets and people.

Jake is committed to furthering his knowledge in companion animal behaviour and welfare to always offer you the best service. He is currently completing Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training with the National Dog Training Federation and is a member of the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants).
